Was happily strolling around Vivo City with the kids when we saw the area for the rental of electric kiddy cars. The babies saw it and that was it. They went crazy and kept nagging that they wanted to go for a ride. So for the sake of our sanity, we negotiated to take the rides AFTER dinner.
Sorry for startling everyone with my shouting. The kids seems to think that they were driving indestructible bumper cars. I was just worried that we would have to pay for damages if the cars got busted from the crazy banging. Jolie was a little disappointed that her motorcycle turned out so slow. I think it's due to her weight. She's not so little anymore!
Jayden had a time of his life! Driving in a sports car his size must have been like a dream come true for the little car fanatic. His grandma had wanted to buy him an mini electric car but I was against it. Somehow it feels wrong to buy lavish gifts costing hundreds of dollars for a toddler?
Anyways, the kids had a good time. I think this short enjoyment would feel more precious and special rather than owning the car. Haha..

Toilet Roll Race Cars! (June Holidays Art & Craft)
OK, I've made plans for the June holidays. Wonderful fun filled days of arts and crafts and activities. Funny how the days seemed shorter when the holidays began. There seemed to be not enough hours in a day to do any arts and craft! But hey, I've collected a whole cupboard full of toilet rolls. So we are going to do this!
I've decided to do cars because it seems more fun. Both Jay and Jo can play with them and they seemed like a more interactive option than toilet roll dolls or crowns. So we set about doing it, cutting, painting and glueing. And here are our race cars!
This is Jayden's car. He started painting it blue, then later he decided to paint the other half red. I just let him have free reign with the painting and look how nice the car turned out! It's got two-toned paint job! Anger was the designated driver. Grrr!
This is Jolie's car. Nice bright yellow colour with none other than the ultimate blonde driver, Barbie. Matching! (Jolie insisted to be number 1)
This is MY car. I went with the ultimate Ferrari RED! Ok, maybe not exactly Ferrari Red but nothing is more classic than a red race car right? Hee... And my favourite Disney Princess, Ariel, was invited to be my driver. Red!
Making the car was not difficult, but waiting for the paint and the glue to dry took so long! It took almost 48 hours before we could race it. But it was worth the effort. It's so sturdy it could survive the "torture" of my kids. Haha.. Wanna go for a ride?

First and Last Day of School 2015
As the school term for 2015 comes to a close, the babies reached another milestone. Jolie completed her preschool and will go to Primary school next year. Jayden completed his playgroup and will move on to the same preschool as his sister, Hope Kindergarten, next year. The last day of school has been quite hectic. Jayden got a performance party in his school while Jolie had to miss her last day of school party to attend orientation at her new school.
After all the hustle and bustle, I finally had the time to reflect on how fast time flies and how much my babies has grown. I dug up photos of their 1st day of school and the difference was startling! I forgot how freaking adorable my babies were. How much they have changed!
Jolie started to go to Hope Kindergarten on 2013. Look how sweet and precious she looked! So fair and pretty like a porcelain doll!
I was learning the ropes of being a stay-at-home mother to 2 children and it was not easy! Missed alot of blog posts during that period.
My sweet princess...
After 3 years, the skirt shrank, the shoes were covered in dirt and she's much more tan from taking swimming lessons.
Considerable number of teeth missing too! But still the cheeky girl. Haha..
Jayden on Jolie's 1st day of school. I forgot how adorable he was! Cheerful baby saying goodbye to 姐姐!
After a blink of an eye, 2 years have passed and Jayden started going to playgroup at the beginning of 2015.
Throughout the year I worry for him. As he was born near the end of the year, (November) I worry that he cannot catch up academically. It didn't help that his classmates were all very chatty and bright little children.
But I decided not to stress myself out and let nature take it's course. Important thing is that he is a happy, healthy and bright child. See how much he's grown in just one year!
One year on and he grows more cheeky by the day! Makes my blood boil but can also melt my heart with a smile and a sweet little kiss!
The relationship between the siblings are so unlike mine. All day long they fight, bicker and disturb each other. But when they are not fighting, there is so much love and laughter between them. The brother would ask for the sister to carry him, they would hug and play with each other. So extreme!
I hope that they will stay close with each other even when they are all grown up. And never forget that the same blood flows inside them. I love you my babies! Can't wait to witness more milestones coming your way!
