Just us girls
YEAH!
As you can see there was only a few persons swimming there. It's like our own private pool! Shiok ah! Somemore it was so bright and sunny. It was so much fun! It's been so long since I've been to a pool without Jayden. It's so much more relaxing without constantly watching him and him pinning for me when it's my turn to play with Jolie. It's 100% attention on Jolie and it was obvious she was loving it! We swam and joked and played in the water. It was so much fun..
After our swim we headed back. We walked towards the park opposite the SAFRA and was curious, so we checked out the viewing tower. I know there was a small park and reservoir there, which was just next to Khoo Teck Phuat Hospital. But I didn't know the park was so pretty!

It was just a few hours, but we had such a good time together, just us girls. Nowadays my attention is mostly on Jayden. Mainly because he's at an age where, if you turn around for just a minute, he would make a huge mess or get into trouble. Even if I want to give Jo some love and cuddles, Jayden would get all jealous! He would scream and shout and cry and try to get between us. I could insist on hugging Jo, but then the moment would be ruined by his tantrums. So spending some alone time with Jolie was a nice way for me to bond with my baby girl again. It feels good, and I must remember to do this more often. :)

Jolie's school concert 2014
We headed out early to take breakfast after dropping Jolie off at school. After breakfast we headed to the school. The school say it's going to start at 9.30am so naturally many came early, hoping to chop a good seat. But at 8.45am we were still greeted by locked doors. There was a huge crowd outside the concert hall, young, old, children and babies, everybody was desperately fanning themselves and trying not to melt in the blistering heat. I was getting so frustrated! Everybody (including me) was all dressed up, now we're gonna look sweaty and oily and stinky. Why can't they let us go inside while they prepare!? ARGH!!!
Finally they opened the doors and we were welcomed with sweet sweet air con! I think everybody breadth a sigh of relieve as they made themselves comfortable in the air conditioned hall. Soon the heat exhaustion was replaced by anxiety as late comers have a hard time finding a place to sit. Thankfully we found a long row of seats just nice to fit all six of us.
I don't mean to be rude or anything, but the pastors and their speeches are sooo boring! At first we listened and nod, then we started to be distracted, then we wonder when was he ever going to finish, and... he's lost us. (Went to talk to other parents) When he finally wrapped up his speech there was a thunderous applause. I think everybody was just glad we can finally watch the kids perform!
Well the kids performed very well and we enjoyed watching (and commenting) all of their fancy costumes! Many looked quite nice and can be worn outdoors, like Jolie's, while others just looked down right silly! Jolie danced very well this year! Even other parents commented that she danced very well and know all her steps! *PROUD* Of course I had to be polite and humble and praised their kid too. But it was obvious she wasn't as good as Jolie! Hahaha!
Next year would have been Jolie's graduating year. I KNOW I'm sure going to cry because my eyes were already wet watching the K2 class in their graduation gowns THIS YEAR. And I don't even know them!! Oh dear, must remember to bring tissues next year. So that concludes the concert. After that we grabbed some snacks, which was awesome. Last year we only saw empty trays.. After that MIL and SIL went off and we ate lunch with Mom. A very fun day! Check out the photos we took and the main performance by Jolie's class. The finally 2 songs by the whole school wasn't shown as Jolie hidden behind many kids. No point showing.

Jayden's 1st haircut
Well, his VERY FIRST haircut is on the day of his full month. Subsequently i did trim his hair abit. But this is the very 1st time I brought him to a professional!
I never had to cut Jolie's hair till she was about 1-2 years old! Aiyah boys so mafan.. Just a little bit long and everybody's starting to comment why we never cut his hair. Honestly, I can't bear to cut his hair. His hair is one one my favorite things that I absolutely adore about him! It's soft, yet firm enough to defy gravity. Everytime I smell his head, his hair would tickle my nostrils. He's so soft and fluffy! :)
But even I thought that it's getting a bit long, so we went to those $10 barber, saving me the stress of cutting his hair. Boy was I wrong!
First, i don't really know how I want her to cut. I've never brought a boy to the hairdresser!! So I just stupidly said short but not too short? Then, Jayden would not stop staring at the hairdresser. He's face is like, "woah lady, what do you think you are doing with those scary things in your hand!?".
Next comes the fidgeting. When she's about to cut, I had to hold his head still, which made him even more mad. So the screaming started. Sigh, in the end we only managed to get a lame ass trim. MIL said that they would get used to it after a few times. Hopefully it would be better then. Meanwhile, this is Tang Jr.'s new haircut. :p
